Juvent Sports Unveils New Pro-XL & Traveler Models At The 2015 PGA Merchandise Show

Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) January 20, 2015

Juvent Sports debuts new items designed to meet the needs of high caliber athletes with larger muscle and body mass as well as those of road warriors who need portability of their Juvent training device.

Juvent Sports (http://www.juventsports.com) today unveiled two new and exciting additions to their product line at the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show Booth 691. First, the new Juvent Pro Traveler™ provides a new portable system that combines the popular Juvent Pro Micro-Impact Platform™ device with a custom, portable, high impact Halliburton Zero™ case for the ultimate in durability, style and everything else that is needed for safe and convenient transport. Second, the brand debuted the new Juvent Pro-XL Platform engineered to meet the healthy micro-impact needs of bigger athletes with more significant muscle and body mass. The new unit can handle users up to 400 lbs in body weight.

Mike Bryan, part of the #1 World Ranked Men’s Doubles Tennis team, is among the first users of the new Juvent Traveler. Mike has been a big believer and vocal advocate of the Juvent device and the global travel demands of the professional tennis schedule was a perfect example of the need to make the Juvent product line even more convenient for travel. “I use Juvent 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes at night. I have much less knee pain, I feel stronger, more balanced and more stable – that’s led to big winning results on the court. I love having my Juvent Traveler with me on the road, very convenient!” said Bryan. The Juvent Traveler system will be available for consumer orders in the Spring of 2015 and will retail for $ 4295.

The new Juvent-Pro XL unit is engineered to meet the micro-impact needs of larger athletes with significantly more body mass and muscle up to 400 lbs in body weight. It contains advanced computer software, a more powerful micro-impact amplifier, pre-programmed warm-up and recovery workouts and the Juvent 5-year warranty. It will be available for consumer orders in the Spring of 2015 and it will carry an introductory price of $ 3995. “We’ve been very excited about the success of the base Juvent-Pro model which debuted last year. However, given its knee and joint pain relief benefits it has been even more popular than we anticipated among physically larger athletes like current and retired NFL lineman, larger golfers and others. So, our technical team focused their efforts on designing a new product that can deliver the soothing, targeted, high-frequency and low magnitude micro-impact these athletes want and need. It is an exciting addition to our product line” Said Rush Simonson, CEO and Chairman of Juvent.

The Juvent Micro-Impact Platform™ technology is a physician and physical therapist recommended FDA Registered Class I medical exercise and rehabilitation device, which delivers thousands of low-magnitude and high-frequency Micro-Impact™ pulses that enter through the heels of the feet and move up the entire body. These micro-impacts uniquely stimulate the body’s muscles and bones promoting circulation, joint health and healing. Golfers simply stand on the Juvent for as little as 10 minutes per session and many start feeling results immediately. Recommended and used by world-renowned trainers, doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors, the Juvent is changing the way athletes of all types are approaching training and recovery.

Juvent Sports is an Official Proud Partner of the NFL Alumni Association (NFLA) as their official provider of this unique technology for the Pro Football Legends. Juvent also works closely and features its products at The Leadbetter Golf Academy, Juvent is also the only exercise device company who is a member of the National Osteoporosis Foundation’s national roundtable.

Kiko Labs Unveils New Neuroscience-Based App for Children to Challenge Critical Skills Every Child Needs for School Success

San Carlos, Calif (PRWEB) January 15, 2015

Kiko Labs, alongside neuroscientists, today announced Kiko’s Thinking Time for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, a unique adaptive suite of games for children based on neuropsychological exercises to challenge the foundational skills needed for school success. By playing the app, children exercise critical skills like executive functions and reasoning in fun workouts.

As 90% of a child’s brain develops in the first 5 years of life, the early, formative years are the ones that matter most. *Children with stronger working memory, inhibition and attentional skills have been found to make larger gains on tests of early math, language and literacy development. Early research shows promise that these skills can be trained. Kiko Labs collaborated with neuroscientists from Harvard and UC Berkeley, and with support from the U.S. Department of Education, to design Kiko’s Thinking Time from behaviors and evidence-based techniques drawn from scientific studies showing early promise in improving the critical cognitive skills related to learning capacity.

“At Kiko Labs, we believe that every child deserves to fulfill his or her potential. Our learning experience called Kiko’s Thinking Time is a training program designed to help them do that,” said Grace Wardhana, co-founder and CEO, Kiko Labs. “This app for children targets fundamental skills like executive functions and reasoning that are the necessary groundwork for learning in kindergarten and beyond. Our goal is to make mental exercises fun.”

About Kiko’s Thinking Time

In just 10 minutes, children aged 3 – 7 can go on a customized adventure with Kiko the Fox to help her in her quest for treasure. They play a series of 10 games where they meet cute animal characters in Kiko’s village and help them with their activities. Through fun mental exercise, children who play Kiko’s Thinking Time challenge skills like memory and focus that will help them become more attentive, focused learners in school. After the child is finished playing, the app provides reporting tools for parents to chart progress over time.

“Kiko’s Thinking Time gives kids training wheels to practice critical skills like working memory and reasoning. It does this by providing a structured environment, and by designing progression in a rigorous, hierarchical way.” – Dr. Jenny Thomson, neuroscientist, former associate professor, Harvard University

Reaction from Parents, Teachers, Clinicians

Today’s announcement builds upon a successful beta version of Kiko’s Thinking Time, which recorded nearly 700,000 sessions of training activity. The response from children, their parents, teachers and clinicians has been impressive:

●    “It is a great mix of a playing and learning app – it includes the perfect skills while keeping kids interested.” – Rebecca Brian, parent of three

●    “Every classroom should have this app. I think it is wonderful and will really benefit the classroom. The data is excellent and will help me lead my instruction.” – Jaquetta Wallace, head teacher, Oakland Unified School District

●    “I am an ABA therapist and work with a variety of children on the autism spectrum. I have been using it with my clients to help them improve their focus, ability to switch between tasks, etc. I find it very useful and I love that they enjoy it as a game!” – Yohanka Allen, clinician

Availability and Pricing

Kiko’s Thinking Time is available for free in the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch or at http://www.appstore.com. When parents are ready for more content they can upgrade for unlimited access to all 10 games and a new game added monthly for $ 7.99/month or $ 49.99/year.

Fitnet

LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) December 29, 2014

Fitnet®, the top-rated comprehensive mobile fitness solution, will launch the Fitnet Script™ application during the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week. The first-ever, trainer-only application allows certified fitness professionals to quickly and easily upload custom five-minute workout videos onto Fitnet, the client-facing application, which utilizes a combination of biometric sensors, fitness trackers, professional fitness coaching and seven-day workout scheduler to help users reach their individual health and fitness goals.

Fitnet Script is transforming the home fitness industry – a market that has not seen disruption since the invention of Jane Fonda workouts on VHS in the early 1980s. Since the advent of at-home workout classes, consumers have only been able to watch TV fitness videos or do self-initiated routines. Fitnet’s new revenue-share program allows fitness professionals to not only create their own Fitnet profile and easily produce a custom five-minute workout video series, but they also have the ability to track and schedule client workouts, monitor progress and motivate consumers through the custom messaging system within the application. Clients now get all the benefits of one-to-one trainer interaction, high-quality video workouts and high-tech analytics…all from their home, office or hotel room.

Until Fitnet Script, fitness trainers and health coaches have been limited to the number of clients that their bodies and schedules will allow for. This new, free application allows trainers to scale their businesses by reaching new clients from around the world and engaging their existing client base via mobile. According to the IDEA Health and Fitness Association, fitness trainers in the US work an average of 18 hours per week. With Fitnet, these fitness professionals can double their income by increasing engagement with existing clients and adding new ones.

“The ability to quickly and easily upload custom video content and have real-time access to clients’ daily physical activities, workout schedules, goals and scores – even when we’re not present for their workout – enables us to build closer, more intimate and better integrated fitness plans for each client,” said Laurie Maddox, certified fitness professional and founding Fitnet trainer. “Furthermore, it gives trainers and health coaches the opportunity to expand our businesses across the globe, instead of solely in one city or region.

“The addition of the Script application gives Fitnet a level of customization unlike any other fitness application currently on the market,” said Bob Summers, founder and chief geek of Fitnet. “There is no other platform which combines video, computer vision and biometric sensing into one package for health.”

While the Fitnet application itself is free of charge and offers over 250 unique workouts, clients can upgrade to a Fitnet personal trainer starting at $ 19 per month, a price well below the industry average of $ 55 per hour.

“I was using another product for my fitness needs, however, I wanted something that would adapt to my changing skill level as I worked hard toward my personal fitness goals,” said Fitnet user, AnthroGirl93. “This app is great! It monitors your workouts with biometric sensors, and is easily customizable in order to help you reach your personal workout goals.”

Fitnet’s fitness geeks will be available during CES in CES Tech West at booth 74734 for test runs of the Script application, demonstrations of Fitnet 2.2 and five-minute fitness on the hour, every hour courtesy of Fitnet Fitness Trainers. Fitnet is free to download on iTunes or Google Play. More information on the Fitnet Script Application and trainer portal can be found on Fit.net/trainer.
