Reasons to Believe, the Non-Profit Organization, Partners with Modmacro for Event Branding

Menifee, Ca (PRWEB) December 29, 2014

Modmacro, the marketing and design firm in Southern California, today announced they have partnered with Reasons to Believe to design a complete event campaign package for the non-profit’s Open House on February 21st. The event serves as an opportunity for donors and friends of Reasons to Believe to tour their newly remodeled and expanded headquarters located in Covina, California.

Modmacro is developing the event’s theme, naming and overall branding, which also includes a logo, corresponding color palette, and imagery. The event package also includes supporting materials such as invitations, branded stationary, response cards and graphics to support online registration. For the event itself, Modmacro is designing environmental graphics, name tags, and the red carpet backdrop.

“We are excited to partner with Reasons to Believe on this project,” said Jerry Lund, Creative Director of Modmacro. “This is exactly the type of project we love – one in which we are involved from the beginning and do the initial branding and then design all of the supplemental materials as well.”

“Reasons to Believe is a highly-respected organization that is doing great work in the area of educating people on the connection between science and Christianity. We believe in the work they are doing and hope this is the beginning of a great working relationship with them.”

Indianapolis Organization Tangram Supports Students Seeking Employment this Disability Employment Awareness Month

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) October 24, 2014

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, and latest unemployment numbers tell us that the national unemployment rate for individuals with a disability is close to double the rate of individuals without a disability.

To Scott McGuire, a graduating senior at the University of Indianapolis with severe dyslexia, these numbers hit closer to home. McGuire is looking forward to finding a job and living on his own after graduation, but now the same disability that made school a challenge may keep him from getting being employed. Thankfully, the solution to his employment may come from the same place as his academic success.

McGuire has found help through a life coach, Megan, who works with him through Tangram, a local organization committed to supporting individuals with disabilities. Megan understands his individual goals and has helped him develop individualized plans to meet his goals and take on his future. McGuire describes Megan as someone who partners with him and helps him find strategies to be successful academically and in other areas of life.

“She’s helped me with diet, health, academics and setting goals. She helps me do want I need to have an independent and happy life,” McGuire says.

Steve O’Dore, the head of Tangram’s life coaching program, says Tangram’s program helps fill in the gaps for students with disabilities so they can be successful and independent after they’re finished with school. Tangram life coaches are available to students like Scott through a grant from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The grant funded services for 5 high school students and 5 middle school students in the Indianapolis area.

McGuire knows that finding a job after graduation will not be easy, but with Megan’s help, he’s taking steps now to ensure his transition is successful.
