Cardiologists Orders: Heal Your Heart to Heal Your Life

NASHVILLE (PRWEB) March 24, 2015

Life is often about the heart and what consumes it. Matters of the heart, whether physical or spiritual, are not to be taken lightly.

Cardiologist Arthur E. Constantine has helped patients from all walks of life over the course of his 24-year career. The most important discovery he has made is that there is an inseparable intertwining of the physical and spiritual bindings of the heart.

“We all must take personal responsibility for our physical and spiritual health,” Constantine said. “Our habits shape how we live our lives.”

Constantine’s new book, “It’s Always the Heart,” offers valuable, life changing clinical and spiritual insights into the prevention of and recovery from heart disease. Readers discover what it means to be completed healed in mind, spirit and body.

With equal measures of diet and exercise guidance and Bible-based insight, “It’s Always the Heart” shares 10 patient stories, each with a different physical heart ailment rooted in a parallel spiritual heart problem.

Through these patient stories and other insights in his new book, Constantine demonstrates that all obstacles in life can only be overcome by changing the heart, which in turn will affect finances, attitude, relationships, addictions, overall health, etc.

“Everyone is busy but all have to balance and prioritize the important things including preparing healthy meals, engaging in daily exercise, and studying a spiritual message daily,” Constantine said. “This world has a heart problem both physical and spiritual and it is time to unclog these clogged arteries.”

Axonom 2D Visual CPQ To Power Online Design and Orders for Salsbury Industries – Mailboxes.com

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) March 17, 2015

Axonom, a global provider of cloud-based configure-price-quote and visual product configuration software, today announces Salsbury Industries – Mailboxes.com replaces its database-driven configurator for a 2D visual product configurator powered by Powertrak. The replacement in configuration systems meets the growing demand for visualization in the ordering process, and is expected to boost user adoption, improve engagement, and enhance the customer experience.

Salsbury Industries – Mailboxes.com, a manufacturer and distributor of quality commercial and residential mailboxes, recognized the need to improve its product configuration system. The company began an extensive search to replace its legacy configurator with one that demonstrated a robust rules engine, supported compelling visual renderings, enabled drag-and-drop capabilities, and proved to be scalable and flexible.

“A few years ago, guiding customers through a series of set questions on a public-facing website was industry practice for mailbox configurations,” said Mark Eu at Salsbury Industries. “Today’s customer expects a better, more intuitive, visual ordering experience. To meet that expectation, we are offering a comprehensive, user-friendly mailbox configuration system that simplifies the ordering process, embraces designing and mailbox door placement, displays two-dimensional visual renderings, and a 100% assurance that configurations meet USPS guidelines.”

Salsbury Industries – Mailboxes.com selected Powertrak 2D Visual Product Configurator, hosted on Axonom’s SaaS offering, NetPRM, as a stand-alone product with no immediate integration into in-house software. “We found that Axonom had an offering that met our current and future needs, and the positive cultural fit between companies was also a factor in our decision making process,” added Mark Eu.

According to Mark Eu, the company expects to see major improvements to its user adoption and CPQ processes with Powertrak. “We now have a user-friendly and visually-driven design, quote, and checkout solution available on our website for anyone interested in custom designing particular mailboxes.”

Embedded in the Mailboxes.com website, users will be able to launch the mailbox configurator by clicking on the configurator button. A set of introductory questions help define the number of compartments and type of mailbox that is to be configured. Unlike the database-driven configurator, a two-dimensional visual representation of the mailbox appears on the screen.

“Once the new configurator is launched, customers will be able to more easily design their custom mailboxes,” said Mike Belongie, COO at Axonom. “Powertrak’s rules engine, visualization, and empowerment for individual involvement will increase engagement with both channel partners and customers, resulting in an improved customer experience.”

With Powertrak powering the configuration, the user selects the type of mailbox or parcel door they are interested in and drags-and-drops it into an appropriate location (determined by the rules engine) on the two-dimensional mailbox rendering. From there, additional options are made available such as the type of finish, engravings, labels, and numbering sequence. When the configuration is complete, users are able to save the configuration, quote it, or complete the order at checkout.

“More and more companies are recognizing the benefits of automating their CPQ process and empowering their customers to design, quote, and buy,” added Belongie. “Many Powertrak customers have commented that its visual product configurator solution is not only an effective sales tool, but also a powerful marketing tool.”

Cubic Awarded $51 Million in Contract Orders to Support Home-Station Training for the U.S. Army

San Diego, Calif. (PRWEB) November 24, 2014

Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today that it was awarded two new orders with a combined value at more than $ 51 million for its Tactical Vehicle System (TVS) and Instrumentable Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System Individual Weapon Systems (I-MILES IWS) from the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). These solutions are instrumental to the quality of home-station training by providing significant improvements to training realism.

The orders come as part of a $ 4.3 billion Department of Defense reprogramming package presented to the U.S. Congress for critically needed defense equipment and services. This collaborative, bipartisan effort between the executive and legislative branches depicts our nation’s commitment towards national security readiness and the ultimate preparedness of our men and women who serve in our armed forces.

In a recent letter to Army Secretary, John McHugh, San Diego Congressman Duncan D. Hunter, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, expressed strong support for the reprogramming stating, “Cubic’s TVS and I-MILES solutions are crucial for warfighter training because they enable soldiers to rehearse combat skills and learn from their mistakes safely in a battlefield setting. These devices are used during live, force-on-force training events and provide the critical feedback for our forces to achieve and sustain mission readiness.”

I-MILES IWS uses laser emitters that attach to military weapons and on-body sensors to replicate combat and records data for later review. I-MILES TVS, the vehicular adaptation of Cubic’s man-worn Individual Weapons System (IWS), equips Army wheel vehicles and other tactical vehicles with lasers, sensors and electronics used during force-on-force combat training exercises. It employs Cubic’s wireless MILES technology to provide real-time casualty assessment necessary for MILES tactical engagement training in direct-fire instrumented training scenarios. It delivers superior performance because of its weapon simulation and casualty assessment accuracy for vehicles and fixed structures.

“Cubic is proud to provide I-MILES IWS and TVS training equipment and to support the U.S. Army’s relentless focus on training. We believe our systems play a critical role for the development and sustainment of our warfighters,” said Dave Schmitz, president of Cubic Defense Applications. “It is our goal to provide the most effective and affordable training solutions, and to do so by driving innovation into the areas most critical to our customers.”
