West Orange, NJ (PRWEB) April 27, 2015

Weigh to Think, LLC (http://www.weightothink.com) launched an integrative health coaching practice. The focus is on helping obese and stressed professionals optimize their health and well-being.

Sharon Lewis founded Weigh to Think, LLC (http://www.weightothink.com) as a result of her own very personal experience, losing over 115 pounds through a multi-pronged approach. Her experience ignited a passion to work with those who are obese as well as those experiencing stress in their busy professional lives – two areas that she has had direct personal experience with. According to the World Health Organization, more than 1.9 billion adults were overweight in 2014 – 600 million of them were obese. Obesity is generally preventable, with lifestyle changes and supportive environments. Stress also has a major impact on both emotional and physical health.

Sharon completed her integrative health coach (IHC) professional training at Duke Integrative Medicine, part of the Duke University Health System (http://www.dukeintegrativemedicine.org/). She holds an MBA and has had over 20 years of executive leadership experience.

Having spent a lifetime ranging from overweight to morbid obesity, coupled with stress from demanding professional roles, Sharon finally took it upon herself to become healthy – inside and out. “Transformation part 1” incorporated an exercise physiologist, a registered dietician, mindfulness, the gastric sleeve surgery, and a great support system. “Transformation part 2” included training at world-renowned Duke Integrative Medicine to become an Integrative Health Coach so that she could help others realize their personal optimal health and well-being and take steps toward achieving their goals for a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Linda Smith, Director of Educational Programs at Duke Integrative Medicine, states, “Our coaches help to make positive changes for health and well-being attainable for their clients. Our program provides them with a framework based on the science of behavior change coupled with skills that can yield long-term health and wellness benefits.”

Polyflow, LLC, the leading manufacturer of spoolable reinforced thermoplastic pipe (RTP) for transporting hydrocarbons, water, and other fluids and gases, today announced that its board of directors has selected Jim Moore as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Moore previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Polyflow.

In his new role, Mr. Moore’s primary focus will be creating a culture of superior service quality and operational execution to bring clients the best overall value possible. In addition, Mr. Moore will continue to work closely with the engineering, operations and sales teams to continue Polyflow’s expansion into new regions and product lines.

“After a period of focusing on improvements to Polyflow’s Thermoflex pipe systems and the expansion of our manufacturing capacity, we’re excited to have Jim Moore lead Polyflow into its next chapter,” said Paul McDermott, a member of Polyflow’s board of directors. “With oil and gas prices stabilizing, operators are looking for partners that can bring efficiency and reliability to their operations and we think Jim’s background makes him an excellent fit for these times.”

Prior to joining Polyflow, Mr. Moore leveraged his expertise in operations, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma as a consultant to improve profits of manufacturing companies. Preceding this position, Mr. Moore served as the CEO of PolyPipe, Inc., a plastic pipe manufacturing company, for six years until the company was purchased by Dura-Line Holdings. Working out of their Gainesville, Texas headquarters, he directed all operations, including six manufacturing facilities, and oversaw all marketing, finance, and HR departments, and had full P&L responsibilities.

During this time, he was also a member of the PolyPipe Board of Directors and reported directly to the Chairman, all while increasing profits 100 percent in the first year and exceeding sales projections by two times. During his time as CEO, PolyPipe was nominated in the Top 3 Processors of the Year by Plastics News and was finalist in 2009 and 2010.

“I am honored to be granted the opportunity to lead Polyflow at this vital time. Our premium pipe technology provides us with a unique opportunity to shape the future of upstream and midstream operations,” said Moore. “I look forward to maintaining the strong foundation we have already built at Polyflow, and expanding that to drive sustainable and profitable growth in the years ahead.”
