Want Lower Blood Pressure? Easy Exercise Program For Lowering Blood Pressure

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a common problem. One reason is that medication can only reduce the problem, not cure it. In most cases, the best way to lower your blood pressure is to change your life style.

For most people, more physical activity is necessary. Lack of exercise is one of the main suspected causes of hypertension. Note that exercise will cause your blood pressure to rise for a short time. However, once you stop the activity, it soon returns back to normal levels. The quicker it does this, the fitter you are.

Most people suffering from hypertension should be able to increase their physical activity level safely. However, if your blood pressure is really high, it may have to be lowered with medication before you start exercising. Always consult your doctor before starting a new exercise program.

You should focus on aerobic exercises, which are good for your heart and blood vessels. Walking, jogging and swimming are suitable activities. At least in the beginning, you should avoid isometric exercises, such as heavy weight lifting. These activities will put an extra strain on heart and blood vessels.

Try to exercise for at least 30 minutes three to five times a week. It is much better to exercise often than trying to make one or two big sessions every week. The key to success is persistence, you need to incorporate the exercises into your daily life. In order to increase your chances of success, you should focus on activities you enjoy. If it feels like a punishment, you will most likely give up quickly.

The best but also the toughest way is to exercise first thing in the morning. Make sure that you get up early so that you can go for a walk before breakfast. Even better is jogging, as long as you are fit enough to handle it. A more comfortable solution is to use an exercise bike at home. Treadmills and cross trainer machines are better but also more expensive.

If you have the opportunity, go for a walk during lunch time. Even better would be to go to a gym for some light to medium exercises. Make sure that you also get your mind off work at the same time.

In the evening, you should try to squeeze in activities you enjoy. It can be tennis twice a week together with swimming twice a week plus a long walk during the weekend.

Physical activity will help to lower your blood pressure but it’s unlikely to be enough on its own. If hypertension is a problem for you, combine exercises with other changes to get better results. Healthier diet and stress reduction are two of most important changes you should consider.

CharmCare Introduces The H2: The Worlds Smallest and Lightest Wearable Blood Pressure Monitor on Indiegogo

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) November 13, 2014

The worldwide wearable electronics market already a $ 14 billion industry and expected to climb to $ 70 billion by 2024 (Source IDTECHEX), has another entry into the health wearable category: The H2 from CharmCare. The company has developed the world’s smallest and lightest wearable blood pressure monitor. The H2 Blood Pressure Monitor is currently being featured on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. The Indiegogo campaign is expected to reach $ 50,000 to enable the company to manufacture and distribute the product in the U.S.

The H2 can track blood pressure anytime, anywhere in just 20 seconds. The attractive, sleek, modern wristband is available in six different interchangeable band colors. While there are portable electronic blood pressure monitors already available in the U.S., the H2 is a true electronic wearable device that doesn’t require a smart phone or computer in order to operate it. Current blood pressure monitors are bulky and difficult for individuals to use when taking their own blood pressure. The H2 is easy to use and also records the blood pressure reading each time it’s taken so that hypertension sufferers can accumulate a record for their personal health information and for their physician.

According to the Center For Disease Control, 67 million adults (31%) have high blood pressure – that is one in every 3 American adults. It greatly increases the risk for heart disease and stroke, the first and third leading causes of death in the U.S. (source CDC website). High blood pressure or hypertension is often related to poor lifestyle choices and can often be managed and improved by making critical lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, cutting down on alcohol consumption and salt and increasing exercise and a healthy diet. The H2 has activity tracking capability to assist high blood pressure sufferers with managing and reducing the symptoms associated with hypertension. H2 also has an alarm feature to remind individuals to take their daily medication.

The H2 was developed by CharmCare, a company established in May 2004, in Seoul, Korea by founders Dong Hwa Lee and Dong Kyu Seo. Both founders have had a successful history in the medical device industry and between them hold over 23 patents in sensor-based medical devices and 10 patents in the wearable category in Korea and the U.S. The H2 is currently available on Indiegogo, the crowdfunding site and will ship in June 2015. The Indiegogo Campaign has several perks and gifts designed to appeal to caregivers and sufferers of high blood pressure. By contributing to the Indiegogo campaign, contributors can purchase the product to help reduce the time to bring this important product to market and to educate more people about the risks of high blood pressure.

CharmCare is currently in development creating a health management community platform that not only tracks activity levels, monitors and manages blood pressure but also fosters an online community that encourages healthy lifestyle choices and habits amongst individuals with hypertension risks. Investor and media inquiries are welcome.

PreDiabetes Treatment Company Offers PreD Store Shoppers Supplements to Support Healthy Blood Sugar

Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 30, 2014

PreDiabetes Centers, the pioneer in prediabetes treatment, is gifting PreD Store shoppers with a supply of sugardown®, a chewable dietary supplement that is taken before meals to reduce post-meal blood sugar spikes. Learning how to control blood sugar levels and boost overall health is an important part of a diabetes prevention plan.

Shoppers who spend $ 50 or more on orders will receive one complimentary tube of sugardown. The offer expires November 30.

Full-size bottles of sugardown–containing 60 tablets–are now available at the PreD Store. Shoppers can purchase sugardown for just $ 49.99–a discount of $ 10 off the retail price when they use the promo code sugardown.

Prediabetes is a common, dangerous condition in the U.S. More than 86 millions have prediabetes, the condition that occurs before a type 2 diabetes diagnosis. People with prediabets and diabetes have to watch what they eat, especially carbohydrates, which can cause high blood sugar levels.

sugardown can be a helpful accompaniment to a nutritious diet by reducing the impact of sugar on blood glucose levels during the breakdown of food.

When a person digests food, a substance in the body called enzymes break down carbohydrates (foods containing sugars and starches) into glucose, and glucose then enters the bloodstream. Too much glucose in the blood can lead to prediabetes and diabetes.

When taken 30 minutes before a meal, sugardown can stop enzymes from breaking down carbohydrates into glucose thanks to galactomannan–a natural, plant product that blocks the enzymes. After a meal is eaten, sugardown can reduce levels of blood sugar by as much as 50%.

sugardown has been tested in clinical trials and is made by Boston Therapeutics.

sugardown contains natural ingredients and has no side effects. The chewable tablets also contain no caffeine or sugar.

Nutritional supplementation in conjunction with a nutrient-rich diet, regular exercise, and treatment for underlying disorders can help stop the progression of diabetes.

The PreDiabetes Centers 12-month treatment program is physician-directed and employs the latest in biomarker blood testing, lifestyle intervention, hormone optimization, and advanced nutrition to reverse the progression to diabetes.

People who feel they may be at risk for diabetes can take an online Diabetes Risk Survey, or call 1-855-399-7733 to schedule a complimentary blood test at a local PreDiabetes Center.
